Recently, Apple has released the updated version of iBooks. This app is designated for iPhone and iPad. This big update showcases new, easier, and better ways to educate students and adults. This is done by allowing people to buy textbooks on their iPad.

The new iBooks, known as iBooks 2, now allows people, especially students, to buy interactive textbooks for school. Many of these textbooks are often used in school curriculums, but overtime get torn up and written on. On top of that, textbooks are very expensive. These new textbooks for iPad make it easier for students to understand and reinforce their reading by adding animations, videos. Students can even highlight information from text and add notes about what they highlighted. These highlights can become notecards along with glossary terms that are crucial to understand for a test. When a physical textbook is released, information can be outdated very quickly. iBooks allows authors to update textbooks so information is always up to date and accurate.
